I have found four eggs total this week!! Its not many but I am still happy.

I have a question now. My roo Little Man (couldnt think of a name) is now going crazy. He is constantly trying to grab the girls and jump on them. I went to pick one up tonight and she took advantage of her.

Is this normal in young roos? (he is the same age as the girls) How long will it take for his hormones to chill out a little? Or do I need to take him an dunk his rear in a snowdrift?

), the reason he may be mounting the hen after you try to pick one up is because he is showing dominance over you. Under Gritsar's avatar is a link to view her BYC page. I'd read over it just in case you find it necessary in the future. Better to correct a roo when they are young and still learning the ropes, then to have a problem roo in the future.
