Hello ladies....Thought I'd join in ...I'm a new mommy to some chicks and ducks...Not sure the type of ducks..Just said "assorted"..(From the Farm supply store) and 2 maybe 3 barred rock chicks..And 1 have no clue what he/she is....Background story....Last saturday I bought 6 chicks and 2 ducks at chick days...5 hours after I got home 1 chick died,early sunday morning another chick had passed...Sunday evening my last 2 passed..Leaving me with 2 chicks and 2 ducks...Then my nephew called and said a feed store wanted to give him some free chicks....2 of them 1 black 1 a tanish yellow color....They are doing fine...(I have a heat lamp (bought it and 2 bulbs at the farm supply) So monday when I called the farm supply store to let them know of 4 chicks demise...All the girl would say is "We don't guarnatee chicks"....I said I KNOW you don't gurarntee them, I just wanted to let you know in case they were sickly and you don't want to sell them anymore....I came to the unfortunate conclusion, they don't care once they have the money....Now I know NOT to buy chicks that aren't busy in their container's...(The 4 that passed were laying down, I thought they were just napping)Hope you all are having a great day so far....I'm sippin my coffee at the moment....

Hi! And welcome to the ladies chat thread here in the GJ&F section. =). Sorry to hear about your chicks. In the feed stores defense, they probably have so many chicks going in and out that if there were guarantees on them they would probably lose some profit in addition to people having the option to "bring back a chick" for almost any silly reason. From color, to actual illness. Anyways, you're right. It's a good idea to pick of the chicks that are perky and walking around!
Oh most definitely...I just thought maybe if they recieved a bad batch they might try buying from somewhere else...I can appreciate their stand point...Just sorry they passed away...Maybe next week the ones we have left will be named....The ducks are named (by my teens) Fireball and Kahlua..Fireball is definitely fiesty...When I walk into the room and start talking he'll come to the side I'm on and start jumping..It's almost as if he/she is saying "pick me up,pick me up"....The other babies are starting to let me touch them a bit more...Don't want to scare them too much....
No one will search a whole entire state for someone. And then why don't you just leave it blank? Don't get so worked up about the question.

Yeah still a bit to personal for my liking.I don't leave it blank because I like to have a little fun with my profile.And im fine you often state so many questions with a superiority and judgement I dislike is all.

i don't mind putting my state up becuz since here in new york i get like 4 feet snow so i ask questions about it and stuff
Yeah. I just feel like everyone should be more mature and just put their state or nothing. Because I've seen a heck of a lot of weird stuff on locations and it bothers me:/.
