Girls still not laying!

i have 2 three and a half year old new hampshire reds who all of a sudden stopped laying. the rest of my flock got attacked and killed by a fishercat and those two survived. one had some minor injuries that healed quickly the other had no injuries. i introduced 12 new chicks in june to them. they get along great with them but no more laying. are they just old or to scarred fro the attack and new chick?

Will it now happen even later as it's Autumn time and the daylight hours are getting shorter?

I am curious about that too.
I have two that just started laying. 3 others that don't really seem close at all. They are 27 weeks also. If they don't lay before the winter chill sets in will they still start in winter or any time? Or do they just shut down and wait for spring?

BTW one of my girls decided the nesting box is not good enough for her and she lays her egg in one of my flower pots every day. The other just uses a corner of the coop, but not the nest boxes provided. ???
Will they change their tune come winter?

My SS 24weeks old and no eggs yet!
They some time make loud noise, their faces are beautiful red, but I guess they are not ready yet...
I hope I don't have to wait till spring to get first egg!!!
