Have you got your peafowl listed allready? May I ask what you asking? I'd think you'd be able to get $200/pair as pairs.

I have not but a family friend is coming over to look at them later today hopefully. I plan on asking 175 a pair just because I want them gone ASAP. If they don't sell then I'll probably go lower.

You've done a lot of work with them. Don't sell yourself short! PM Jazzmyne (who is now earth goddess or something on hatch day) and I'm guessing she'll totally be interested.

I've thought about seeing if she wanted them if I can't sell them locally. I really hope that I don't have to go the shipping route though.

I hope they sell locally and for a good price! Maybe you should get a friend to road trip with you to this auction....folks come from all over to get things like your peacocks, and you'll fetch top doller.

Car rentals aren't too bad, if you can box the birds for the 8 hour trip. (or is it 12?) Zoos buy here, private breeders buy here, the ignorant wanting "something fancy" buy here, but folks buy. Lots of folks go.

Can I see a recent pic of one or more of them? I know it takes 2 years to get in the decent tail feathering, and the older they are, the better. But, in your case, they are young pairs, and boy that's a good investment if you have the space.

I still don't have a camera but I'll see if I can borrow a camera from a friend. The males seem to be getting a bit larger in size and have longer tail feathers.
