Just went to and back from Anchorage to pick up 2 dogs whose flights were delayed *die*
Been awake for 20 hours but meet the 2 girls.


Hard to see in 2nd one, but 2 red heeler girlies. Also got a border collie male, no pics as of now

LOL, I will I will!
But guess what? We have squabs do SOON. Everest, the boy pigeon, a feral, disappeared and I thought he was dead but then he showed up and did this several times, and one day I was under the porch and checked for eggs in the dog boxes cause I hadn't done it in a while and I found him! He was sitting on eggs! Lavender, the purple (LOL) fantail hen (mum) is such a bad mom! She's hardly ever on the nest. Granite Everest IS a wild pigeon and has a better mothering instinct but its so cute! He'll bite you and hit you with his wings, LOL

Ok so I can't keep my hands off them, so I keep candling them to see and yesterday I could see 2 air bubbles in the eggs (each had a air bubble, not 2 per lol!) but no beaks. I re candled like 2 seconds ago and I couldn't see an air bubble in one just veins?!?! Maybe I was candling bad (Im using a crappy light LOL)
Anyways so excited!

air bubble is ok, but it's the veins that are important! Don't candle too often, Cochin, give it like 3 or 4 days between. If you rough the eggs up, and break a vein, the embryo dies.

I had an Ancona duck hen (the last one) come off her nest with 11 babies today. All the boy ducks seemed very excited for her. Shes a great mama too!

Doesn't matter. The god dang ferrets killed the female. No way a single pigeon could raise 2 squabs, 1 would die ultimately, probably both, and he'd strain himself to death trying to raise them. And it's all my fault cause I let the pigeon in to eat and the DANG ferrets were out!! I hate the ferrets so much, they've killed so many chickens and animals I HATE THEM. I want to just crush both of their skulls. He was covered in blood still when I came back.
I bet my moms happy. She's always hated the pigeons. Made me get rid of the others. And we can't keep Everest (male) because because he'd be lonely and I doubt my mom or dad would let me get more.
And I COULD raise the squabs myself, but my mom wouldn't let me keep them, and I doubt she'd be willing to spend money on them.
I just hate myself and why did I put her in the house?!?!

Oh and btw I only candled them twice
Oh and I told my mom how he couldn't raise them and how she always hated the pigeons, it then ended getting ME in trouble.
Oh yeah, I forgot, my pigeon dies, I get in trouble
Cause everything's my fault

You know my mom has apologized to my sister a few times, never has she ever apologized to me even when she knew she was wrong.
I feel hated today.

Awesome, we love our Queensland heeler. Her name is amber.. Someone just tossed her over our wall about 8 years ago.
Someone said they only live till 11-12 years...

The average lifespan for a heeler is around 15 years, but a heeler was also the longest living dog. A blue heeler lived to the ripe old age of 29. Just saying.

Ours is 7 now. I think one set the record for longest living dog? Either that or close. On wiki it said it only got 3rd place due to just days
But yeah, very old living animals
