Eek! We traded the geese for a buck rabbit. He's real sweet, but is awful to try & pick up.
About 8-10 months, according to the guy. You'd think he'd know more, . He got him from another owner who fed him a green diet - I don't think he had enough protein when he was young, he's kinda small.
Tried to breed both does, too. The first girl he didnt hit right.... Err... When he was trying he.. Uhh... Wrong end... Poor girl was SO confused.
The second girl I was a bit more intervening - switched him to the right side, & I think he got her right. Going to try again with Charlie (the one he kept going on the wrong side...) later tonight, & have another hit with Rosa (the girl he bred CORRECTLY ) later tonight.
In 2 weeks ill palpate & see if it took.
Excited :)
Here he is :

He was eating an apple, that's his face - he looks so black that I can barely understand his face! Lol

How's everyone else?

Ok kev, I was, for the first time looking up Cesar Millan. I saw a video about wolf hybrids that he featured in and got my curious : what sort of setup do you have your wolves? Also, how many do you have? And if I'm not mistaken you also have a Great Dane & some sort of small puppy, right? Do they all live together or?
You must have a busy life. 2+ wolf hybrids, a Great Dane & a small dog. I'd go crazy.

Oh,and are the wolves trained at all,,or just tame? Up until now, I've just imagined them in a wolf-equivalent of an aviary and just assumed they were only tame enough to pet..

And any pictures would be lovely :) can't ever get tired of wolf hybrids!

They're inside during the spring and summer due to it being so hot but they're allowed to stay outside during the fall and winter. They also come inside whenever we get pretty bad storms down here. The have about half a acre fenced in to roam around. They also have a 10 X 10 Kennel with houses, water, and a automatic feeder.

The Danes and Sasha started having domination issues so I rehomed the Danes. They're still in great homes and I'm still in touch with both new families.

LOL! They know basic commands but I haven't done advanced training. They're super tame with me. We'll wrestle all the time and Sasha loves to be kissed. Simba is more reserved but doesn't mind being petted.

I'll try to get updated pictures of them. Simba's gotten quite a bit bulkier now.

Ah, I see. I didnt think about that. Cool. Do you know what their mixed with or,,? Oh and how did you get them? Aww, atleast they're in good homes! Ooh, yay! :D

They don't like to be inside very much though or I'd have my babies inside with me all the time.

They're mixed with "4 %" Malamute but I just refer to them as High Contents. They were originally just supposed to be a foster for a family who couldn't take care of them anymore but I ended up just adopting them.

I still miss them but I couldn't live with myself if one of their fights turned fatal.

:love

That's legal?!?! :O I know in Alaska wolf hybrids are illegal, and in most places they need to be 25% or more.
There is someone who owns them, though I believe they're not allowed to roam at all, and if they were found they'd destroy them. So the guy has to have a very secure gate.

Yeah, that'd be bad :( our dogs fight, but they're also an Australian Cattle dog & an Australian cattle dog corgi mix, and neither is over 40lbs, so it's rather easy to break them up.
