Don't pool it! Just use warm water, hold it on a few minutes, and gently wipe. He might be getting picked on by some other rowdy. You might have to give him a cock sock, thats some cloth tied over his head to keep his comb covered until he heals up a bit.

Do you think hes been scratching or fighting?I could've swore he hasnt been fighting but with a young roo who knows !! I saw him wrestle the turkey to the ground so ya, who knows!!

I'll just go ahead and dub it so he CANT injure it again

The moors up there are really awesome, especially when the mist appears over the valleys. We also went up to the lake District a lot, quite pretty up there.
