When I moved out (on my 18th birthday) I didn't come back for about 3 years, or speat to anyone. I hated those asswipers, and I didn't speak a word to anyone until I felt like it. Arrogent, stuck up, selfish pigs are what my kin are.

Yup, you fell further, far further. When I move out its called get a big aquriam, put my quail in there, and go live in a apartment till I have a house and can get chickens (And turkeys and ducks and all, LOL)

Doesn't any chicken have blue skin besides Bresse ?

Bresse? If you part the feathers you can see- or if you have a broody hen look at the patch of missing feathers

Your right, they have very dark meat, and its tasty too, but I love my silkies too much to eat their little fuzzy butts. (I don't eat butterflies either)

If I didn't have all of my animals I can honestly say without a doubt in my mind I would have moved out already.

Cochin, love the mental image of you and quail in an aquarium. However, if I were you in that situation, I'd keep them in cardboard boxes with a mesh cover, so you can just change boxes when they phew up the place a bit. They don't seem to mind, as they are very timid and shy, and like the quiet and unassulted feeling of the dark walls. It must remind them of tall grasses.
