Girls vs Girls

Thanks Marty

. It's always hard for the innocent birds to have to be culled when all the mean ones live without any issues. I'm thinking about culling my aggressive Gander. Plus I've been considering raising meat quail for the Wolf Dogs.

Well, culls might be a good way to see if you can handle it. After its culled, if you can, you might need to divide it a bit for the dogs to realize it contains food they'l enjoy. I know if I had to die, I'd probobly prefer I not be wasted, let my energy pass into something else. What they eat today runs and barks tomarrow. What you eat today walks and talks tomarrow. (even the carrots)

I can't with this one. It's been raised as a pet and I've been with it for too long. I'd have to raise them straight from the beginning in a Meat bird mindset. That's why I considered Bobwhites because I heard they can be mean little birds.

If I cull the gander I have no problem putting him in there. Do I need to pluck the feathers for them to eat?

I'm eating a snack to stay awake. I'm soooo tired. Up till 2 with the ghosts. DH even had a female one say "david" in his ear. That was one of the ghosts DHs name (my cousin - he and his wife killed in accident 20 years ago this month). She died instantly, but he died 30 min later at hospital. They told their kids (age 4 and 12) they'd brb..... On the motorcycle they crossed median and hit a truck head on. Ironically, at this place, everyone died within the same 2 week period. If they live here when the expire, its always bet. Jul 30 and Aug 14 w/o exception so far. 136 years, all the same. My house is in high ghost right now. In fact, I'll go to bed soon, to avoide the irritating ghostiness that I ran into cause I stayed up till 1 with Cochin. After 11;30, your on your own if you go wondering the house. I did last night, and was bummed about it later. Don't like ghostings much. Like the ghosts, hate them being about and dong things. One of the bloody buggers actually took my keys this morning. Went out to do chores, and no keys. Came back in, and there they were. I KNOW THEY WERN'T THERE when I went out. I'm positive.

They don't scare me so much now, but they statle me a bit I'll admit.

You don't have to, if your prepared to divide him into half or forths. IN fact, in the meaty bones diet, you'd never take any natural part of the bird off. (or any other critter, if you can help it)

Thanks for the link! I can separate him into halves. Can I feed him right after he's culled?

Yah, its both cool and uncool. I love some of these ghots. I don't know if Shirley (Davids my cuz wife) was talking about her David or my dad, also David. As it worked out, Davids my moms nephew, not related to my Dad. My folks divorced when I was 7, and David became Dads best friends. She could have been talking to either. Since I know she's been about the last few days, I went down a bit ago, and called her over and over, to try to get her to come. When I sensed her, I told her (in case nobody thought to tell her) that her David had expired 30 minutes after her at the hospital. I just felt like she ought to know, in case she's still looking for him. I've told her about her kids, and what they're up to, kind of often though. I mean, if they hang about and I know it, they probobly expect info and detials. Obviously they still give a crumb about it.
