Girls vs Girls

Don't quote me on this one but I heard they only breed in pairs or you'll have low fertility. I've obviously never known anyone who has had them so I'm not sure if it's true.

At our zoo pairs are isolated with own ponds. I guess that's the way to plan it, about 150 ft sq pond, in a 30 x 40 ft pen. All in deep shade.

That sounds like a great set up. They just through them in on the lemur island down here.

It's the exhibit the zoo made for the lemurs. It's literally just a large island with some stumps on it.

Oh, thats sad. Our lemurs are in fancy cages with trees and stuff. They get a/c in their concrete buildings in summer, but can come and go at will fall, winter, and spring.

Ours is supposed to be one of the best "little" zoos in the US. No elephants, whales, or anything. We've got buffalo, deer, llama, peacock, swans, lemurs (two kinds) prarie dogs, badgers, lots of birds, lots of ponds, lots of fish, foxes, mountain lion, etc.

It sounds a lot nicer than mine! Most of the bigger animals exhibits just smell
