Girls vs Girls

It was storming all morning now it's nice and sunny. That's Texas for you.

OK, so we now have about 18" of snow, and it's still snowing, and more expected tonight.

I havn't seen a snow storm like this in years. The african geese only want to stand in a corner of the pen. The toulouse seem to be walking everywhere. The sebbies are in the straw under the sheltor DH built them. I think maybe they laid today, but no dice getting out for the eggs. It was a complete pain doing chores this morning. Had to put out another heated waterer for the toulouse geese. Now, only the 3 chicken coops and the africans don't have a heater to keep water thawed. I do have another heater, but I'm out of exterior cords long enough.

. I can't even imagine how much extra work that must be! You're such a great poultry keeper Marty.

Kevin!

Yeah, it was a drag. The hardest part was even FINDING the dang feeding pans. They totally disappear under a foot of snow. I'm used to the 2-3" of snow business.

How are you?

I hope it clears up soon for you Amiga

. It's insane to have to deal with all of that.

I'm doing quite well right now.

That's awesome.

I'm definately going to be in Texas in March, but we havn't figured out what to do with ourselves yet. I have a day to kill. Gonna be between austin and Dallas/Ft.Worth area.

You have to check out some of the Vegan restaurants! They are amazing especially in DFW. The people not so much though.
Did you ever go read my AI article? I'd like your feedback if you feel like it.
Yes I did. It taught me quite a bit actually!

Isn't DFW a pain in the tucus to drive in? I though about driving to Galveston, but there really isn't much to do in March. I know there would be more choices in DFW, but isn't Austin pretty cool too?

You'll have to give me a few names and locations.

Yes it is. Especially in spring. I heard Austin's nicer but I haven't been there in years. Not sure about Galveston this time of year either.
