So, seriously, why don't you make the easy bake bator I told you about? Do you have room to hide one? Imagine your folks surprise when you come out with a handfull of ducklings! Ha!

Tell them you must have Cayugas. Lovely black ducks, native to north america and specifically canada area. Not perfect for the north pole, but more cold hardly than anything except your own wild species. If you feed them enough, and give them someplace to sit where they won't freeze to the ground, they'll be happy. I'd think 2 ducks and a dog house with straw would be enough. Just feed them good, so they can keep their body heat up. Or give them a little 15 watt bulb at night, and shut the dog house door.

Haha, well he eats plenty of ducklings and chicks each year so he can stay full on those! Surprisingly, I'm actually awake. Half a pepsi goes a long way

My mom wants to hatch some eggs too, so buying a bator should be in hte future but prolly not till spring

She hates raising them in the house.

Ya we had cayugas but we sold the ducks. We could get more later, or if we get a bator now actually buy some but I doubt my mom would go for that

We have 2 doghouses, LOL, one the goats use (yes, both of them can fit in there, at the same time

) and the other the chickens sometimes use as a nest box. Sure they could share tho

Our feed store orders a variety of stuff but if they have guineas next year I'm getting those. Again.
