Well Amigas I'm gonna go ahead and head out and start preparing mentally for it. I'm going to recall every vet in town to double check there's no way they can do it. If not for the first time in my entire life I'm going to take the life of another creature. Even though it's for the good of the turkey it's still a life that has to be taken. While it wouldn't phase a lot of people I purposely try to avoid all lifestyle choices that require taking another life. 16 years of a philosophy down the drain. Night.

If it helps explain to the turkey, talk to it. The turkey would rather go into a deep sleep then and never wake up, rather then suffer. Its the right thing, no one will judge you (Except a$$h*les), its for the best.

I feel like I've let Kevin down. If I were her, I'd go put it in a back yard with dogs. It was gonna die anyway, but then its nature taking its course. Shes not meant for this job.
