Happened to me before.

ah well, such is things. Heck, I may have wrote it and left before I submitted it. I've been known to do that too.

How are ya cochin?

Cochin, glad you had a good time! I'm sure you were quite shocked by Kevin and I talking about feeding the wolfdogs.

Kevin, Give them everything. Yes, that includes feet, head, tail feathers, etc. Besides, wolfies look so cute with a mouth full of feathers you planned on them having....

Kevin, ya ok? You've been sorta MIA.

Why didn't you tell me about the trouble you were having with your bird? I don't always check Hatch Day anymore. ITs slow and only social, and I prefer you two for my social needs (and a few games and Hi's and a littlemore time answering questions now)

I admire C*lticz knowledge, but it irks me that she seems to talk down to us sometimes. I believe she knows more about geese, and probobly hatching since she hatches like thousands of eggs every year it sounds like, than I do. Heck, I nominated her (with others) for educator. Oh well, just venting. I'm planning on having a light over them at night starting in mid January, in order to get earlier eggs. I don't think everyone one is of the opinion that I should get earlier eggs (which sell for higher on ebay). Although, if I go ahead and hatch a bunch of eggs, and let the geese do the same, maybe I can get more for the babies. I'm glad we started NPIP testing (I can ship eggs and babies) so I can sell on ebay if I want. Mamas gotta buy Mazuri food for my waterfowl, so the girls can win at 4H fair next year. Only got a red this year. Of course, we were the only sebs, and there were only 2 other geese. LOL

*is making popcorn, in a good mood*

I know I'm not part of the 3 amigas, and I seriously feel like I'm intervening, but I just wanted to drop by. So, hi!

Marty how do you become NPIP? Next year im ordering some chicks from HorseCrazyChickenLovingKid (bit of a mouthful
lol.png
) and she has Ameracaunas, Andalusians and Sumatras (might get one for just pleasure
lol.png
last year the one I had died
hmm.png
) and they are fit standard (according to her site ) so I wanted to be NPIP so if I sold hatching eggs (or if I get a bator, chicks) it'd be easier
Oh and can they be NPIP if their housed with quails and pigeons?

I'm gonna guess no? Or that they just have to be healthy ? Thanks (:

Kevin, come to think of it you did tell me. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to tell you about the charcoal. I told somebody last week on a help post, and "c" came and posted it after me. She is that way, kinda know it all, but the fact that mostly she knows makes it easier to swallow. Shes worth putting up with if she lets me pick her brain. Although, sometimes I'm kinda sorry I nominated her for educator (course, I'd never nominate her for friend) LOL You know why.

Cochin, NPIP is a test you get for your birds (each and every single one individually) that shows they are free of 3 or 4 dieseases. Its not really hard to do, and our 4H groups does it, since they have to be tested to show anyway. I even had to retest the birds I got from an NPIP source, since they are mine now, and here not far far away. It does cost per bird, but its not too much really. Besides, you have to have it to ship birds and eggs. I don't care what anyone says, I'm selling my eggs for food money!!! (for the birds, not me)

Such a busy day. If nobodys here by 10, I'm going to bed!
