Hows Cochin? I'm a little stressed, cause making wedding cakes stresses me, and even worse cause its freaking pouring rain, and I have to go deliver a wedding cake on a pedistal in the Freaking rain.

Makes the frosting softer.

Makes my special made flowers soft and sticky and droopy

So I had to run to a florist and buy some other flowers to use instead. Dang it.

I hate cake. I hate people who order cake (not really). I hate delivering cake. However, I do like making a few hundred bucks for making and decorating and delivery cake.

Swan ain't the only one thats got 'tude today.

Sure wish one of my amigas was on to distract me today. However, in 28 minutes I have to go move the cake onto the antique pedistal cake stand and scoot it to the reception site.

Pray it stops raining for 10 minutes then. Or at least, stops raining very hard.

Oh, not too long. In about 10 minutes I'll go get it togather, and leave with it. Then, about 15 minutes later, I'll be back home.

In the meantime, its gone from raining hard to raining cats and dogs.

I do NOT like hauling cakes under umbrellas. This is NOT COOL.

You always got 'tude.

Cochin, wedding cakes are often 3-5 double layerd cakes that are stacked on top of each other. This is a pain, and stressfull. It takes time to bake them (2 cakes to make 1 single layer cake) x 3 is baking 6 cakes. Then torting and filling. Then frosting. And its got to be smooth smooth, cause brides also got 'tude. Then, got to get out the old decorating bags and tips and make fancy stuff on them. Then, move them. Thats the worst part. They can crack, and screw up. VERY STRESSFULL! Also, you know everyone and God are gonna be looking at it and talking about the skills of the decorter.
