Homemade soaps are very popular down here so the main purpose would probably be just for making soap. I might drink the milk occasionally but that would probably be very sparingly.

Do you like yogurt? There are entire books on how to use up goat milk. Maybe a little research will give you loads of vegan friendly ideas.

Goats are very amiable, intelligent, and friendly. Gracefull and peacefull. They like to roost. LOL, not really, but they like to get up on top of anything that they can mangage to stay on top of. And they do those little councy jumping thing, like pepe la piew from bugs bunny. Funny stuff.

Goats just seem like all around wonderful animals to keep around. They'd probably be mainly pets.

I'm sure if you play this for the goats, they'll give you better milk. They've got the face for it.

Say that when you have 3 gallons in the fridge and about 50 packages of soap in the fridge from left oever milk

Marty ~ Goats can, at least in a lot of places, be foraged (of course some partitcular plants have bad affects like you said, for ex. alfafa can make terrible tasting milk depending on the goat) and still have fine tasting milk but depending on how much space Kev has it prob. wont be an option Any who

Just ran outside, got an egg eater :/ But don't fear, we have wooden eggs!
