Girls vs Girls

I'm really thinking of jailbreaking my iPhone... I know how to do this successfully, legally, and safely, and it's also approved legal by the U.S. government, (against Apple) but it's just a matter of if I really want to do this... If I do, there will be so much epicness for my phone, but I'm just... rrgh..

The only things holding me back is 1) Jailbreaking will make my iPhone more targeted for malware if apps are downloaded off any place besides Cydia (the app store for jailbroken iDevices, containing unauthorized but super awesome apps). Most of Cydia's apps are pretty safe, but I'd have to do some research before downloading it. (One thing I do like that I've already seen, I have seen that Cydia has an app that you can do the coolest passwords - voice authorization, thumb scan, even the Android's thing of drawing a pattern to unlock.) I mean, it really would be awesome if I did. I'm just nervous about malware and security. Because jailbreaking is practically breaking the walls Apple built... so.

Yeah, that's pretty much the only thing I'm nervous of. It is entirely legal and AWESOME, for that matter, but it's just security I'm worried about...
I really do think I'm gonna go for it when I get home...

They don't have any anti virus apps for Iphone?

Not on the app store, because Apple has literally put up their own firewalls in the phone (when not jailbroken), so there is no need. But if your iPhone is jailbroken, you tear down those firewalls and enter a whole world of new possibilities, even if it is hazardous. I have no doubt, however, that there will be antimalware apps on Cydia... Hm.

Hopefully you can find some appropriate ones if you do decide to jail break it. Most of the people I know end up jail breaking them.
