So, would you go with a Nigerian Dwarf of rather unknown dairy ancestory (but she is registered with the dariy goat assn.) who is nursing quads and a 1st generation mini Nubian?

Registired? Nursing quads? She bred to a mini nubian? I'd take the risk. If she registired I doubt shes terrible, and if she has enough milk to sustain quads (are any of them being suplemented?) then she sounds OK.

Wasn't Cochins article great? I'm telling you, she gonna get the two first. (I'll still be very proud of Cochin!) Another article about cross beaks is pretty good too.

Cochin, the Nigerian is registered in 3 registries. The mini Nubian (bred to another mini-nubian August) is registred in only one place. Both are registred though. I agree, the quads one is probobly producing 2 qts a day or more right now. She want $600 for both though. I don't like that number, but I can't find cheaper. Someone else has a laMancha - unreg. and they want $275! Holy Cow. Pretty comment though around here.
