Avas udder. Not bad for a Nigerian. Lets hope she'll hold in milk, since she's only ever nursed young, so she's not exactly programmed for 10 month lactation. Hows curling? Hope your team wends, and you are awesome.

Hi Kevin- No pic of big hairy udders for you, LOL. I'm sorry that your peacocks are kind of a disappointment. I think they mate and lay the first year, but they are so blinky dumb that you'd better snag the eggs. Besides, if your NPIP, you'll make enough good money on ebay to make it worth your while.

Very nice udder. Kinda a low pic (better if it were a bit higher up and further back) but you can see the good attatchments. If shes been nursing quads and still has a dang good udder like that, thats a VERY nice find.
We lost, 0-9, but I've been sick and didn't curl, so they got 0-9 w/o me. Oh and Eamon has a deadline for me being sick

I have to be able to curl by Saturday, appereantly he entered me in the Rookie Spiel (I only recently learned this, BTW

)

I'm sure Ava's can get bigger but a nubian udder is a hard udder to beat,and Ava's is smaller then if she was being milked by a human because her kids are slowly being weaned

And for Marty's sake, a line of LaMancha's udders (Tho the far right one's teats are too fat, could be blown but I doubt it, she could be overfull too, which is most likely)

Cochin, you should have seen the udder on my saanan. She gave 5 qts a day. Ava is still nursing, and not weaning yet. The kids will be 8 weeks old just before dec. 9 when I pick them up. She's going to instant wean them when I pick up Ava. She does appear to have good solid teats, and yes, its 4 thats shes nursing full time. I plan to milk her 3x a day for several weeks to increase the milk supply, if possible. I'm also going to give her beer and oats, which increase milk supply in all mammals (its the hops and barely in the beer that does it). Worked for me! LOL

I've got my vacuum milker ready, and this weekend we are starting on the goat paddock and stalls in barn. Woo Hoo!

On another thread, two hatch buddies I've known since I started (and we were somthing of a hatching trio) are at odds, and both are PMing me uncomfortable stuff about each other.

I wish folks wouldn't put me in the middle, since I'll just sneak out and leave them anyway. Time for big girl panties, IMO. They are both sweet as honey to me, and evil snakes to each other right now. last time they ended up being friends again anyway. I have to keep my hands clean here, as I totally expect a turnabout later this week, or early next from them. When one called names, I told the other to flag them. When one told how the other said unfriendly things about me, I said I didn't care. (but i did express that one was being childish)

I wish you were on, it would be nice to have a sweet little goat conversation.
