Girly Rooster?

I hope that is what he is doing, showing the girls where the best place to lay an egg is. If you have only had him a short while he is probably still settling in. Give him some time.

You've had him 3 days, which means he's still very much an outsider to your flock. I wouldn't expect to here much crowing or to see him mingling with the other birds until he figures out where he belongs in the pecking order. Eventually, he'll make his way to the top of that order, but it'll take some time. Some birds take months to settle in and figure out how things work after moving to a new home. Give him some time.

He came WITH the flock. He and the ladies are familiar with each other. Hopefully it's just because he's young. Otherwise, he'll make a tasty dinner! ;)

You could give him some time, maybe he isn't feeling well. When you crack some eggs you can look for the fertile bullseye. My rooster makes nests and coos to his girls, dances, and tidbits along with crowing, mating, and protecting them. I consider it a plus that he courts them instead of just raping, pulling out feathers, and stressing them out.
