... of your heart and they take it all.

These are the little goslings I hatched - a sebbie, 2 buff dewlap toulouse and 1 grey dewlap toulouse.

They have a fairly set daily routine.

They have about an hour of swim time in the tub.

Once the water is out they get their spinach/lettuce/grass/yogurt shake.

Which they love.

It is easier to give the shake in the tub.

They make a huge mess.

Then I rinse them off in warm water. They go straight into a warm brooder box with a heat lamp.

Once they are all dry they get to go outside and spend their day on the grass in the sunshine.

They live a sweet life.

I have 5 from march that are really big now. I have 8 embdens left (AussieSharon got 3 and 1 died). And I have these 4 babies from the last hatch. So - 17 all together.

Shellie, geese have quickly become my favorite. They are so funny to watch. I love their sounds as they grow up. I love the way they come up to me as if to say, "Hi, mom, pick me up, please," with their litle tails wagging - even the big ones that weigh at least 10 pounds now.

quite a few of them you got. Still going to be able to eat them as if I remember correctly you said you were going to eat most of them. We had a goose a long time ago and he thought he was a dog and would follow my dad wherever he went. It was the funniest thing.
