I think the best thing I ever did was hatch ducks, geese and chickens for my kids to experince, Kitty. As hard as they are to hatch they are worth every drop of sweat and all the tears. I can't even begin to fathom the depth of education my youngest kids are getting simply by living and experiencing these tiny lives.

Drumstick needs them, too, PC.

Let him learn it all while he is little and willing to simply love these little creatures for their innocence and beguiling ways.

Very wise of you Miss Prissy to make them the yogurt and greens shake. In my experience ducklings love their greens, but aren't quite so keen on yogurt. Making a green smoothie for them is a creative idea!

I am keeping all the eye candy goslings. I am keeping 3 female 1 male embdens. The rest of the males are for the freezer - ie - Christmas Goose. The other females is undetermined as of yet.
