Okay, after spending probably 100 hours on this site in the past month, I know it is STILL slightly early to sex my barnyard mixes. However, documenting this journey is kinda fun.
We are at 4 weeks and a day since hatch. And I have 3 chicks.
#1 Noelle (Might be a cockerel) Black
biggest (191 g), bravest, messy tail, some comb growth, and a tinge of pink where wattles go, but black legs and a small white dot on head at hatch, dad is probably the Cuckoo Marans
#2 Mistletoe (pullet) White
friendly, slightly smaller than Noelle (165 g), feathers are brown and white, with a little red coming through, neat tail
#3 Holly (pullet) Red
about 2/3 the size of my Noelle (129 g), dad is probably the bantam RIR, smallest tail feathers, yellow comb
I will update again at 6 weeks, but I wanted to make sure you didn't see something I didn't. Thanks for your input.
