Thanks! I figured it was going to be a roo. It was the free chick with my order. It is pretty skittish and it doesn't like me at all. Makes it easier to accept cockerel if that's what it is lol

I have 2 barred rock chicks. They are about 2 weeks old. What gender do you think they are? I have read about looking at their spots on their head, colors, and black splashing on their legs to determine if they are male or female. Just curious. Thanks

Looks like a mixed breed to me, possibly with some Silver Belgian Bearded D'Anvers or some variety of Wyandotte in her. Pretty little hen!
