Giveaways! Anyone interested in free chicks?

Well, just thought I'd send this out in case anybody in this forum is interested:
As some of you know, I received my chicks from McMurray's on Monday. All sexed female, vacc for Mareks, as of 2/21 they're 5 days old.

I am looking for homes for:

3 Araucana
3 Buffs
4 Black Australorps
3 Barred Rock
4 Partridge rock

Got a notice posted at the local feed store offering them for free to 4H'rs, $2.00 for anyone else.

But to any BYC member they are free (pay for shipping only)...

I wish I lived closer... I'd take them in a heartbeat. Even if they don't quack!! lol
I've wanted to raise a couple ducks from the time I was a child. Hubby has conceded to a small breed like call ducks. Needless to say, they're nearly impossible to find!

So, meanwhile, I'm always surfing the net for someone's unwanted, or overstocked flocks.
I'm sure you'll find plenty of takers for your new chicks.

If by a rare chance that you end up having to keep them til this summer....we could meet up for a quick sale when you travel my way. Good luck! I only have a couple bantams left in my coop. All have lived out their lives til old age .

I cannot believe how fast good news travels!

A cattle ranching couple saw the note at the feed store (posted just this morning) and she just came by and picked up
4 partrige rocks
3 araucanas
2 buff orps
4 black australorps

A member of this site is having
2 buff orps
1 partrige rock
shipped to her!

Another member on this site is taking the remaining 3 barred rock.

I have extra too and it sure wasn't hard to find homes for them. I did charge $3 and still no problems

you could get a warmer im not a big order
and fruit/vegatables will give them water and food
