Love these guys. Their color is phenomenal. Love the deep maroon in a Rhode Island.

Wow you are so lucky! Black copper Marans are a rare breed and lay the darkest most beautiful brown eggs, unlike other chickens. You may want to look into building a new coop, that tractor really doesn't have that much space for 6 large birds, and the roost area could get really hot and stuffy inside and it looks pretty dark too.
Are they laying eggs for you now? Maybe once they get "homed" to their new area, you could let them out to free range in your backyard sometimes. Being in crowded conditions can get stressful for chickens and lead to some serious pecking.
There are many coop and run ideas here and some come with plans. Your 6 birds should spend the day in at least a total of 60 SF minimum penned area if not let out to roam in the yard. Ventilation is also one of the most important factors in chicken housing. Here are some articles to help explain some fundamental requirements:

My wife and I were talking this morning and wondering if we should let them out in the day time. The tractor seems small for these six birds. We can open the coop in the day when no one is home. Our dog has other ideas about it when we are here .
They are not laying eggs yet. Pretty confident they weren't at there last place. They were in a coop with around 20 chickens. Half of them were roosters. We are trying to get them as comfortable as possible to get them to lay. We also don't know the age so that probably plays a factor as well .
The place we got them has two more tractors and a coop. I can have all if it. All I have to do is go get it .I'm thinking about using it to build a coop and keep expenses down. Whatever I do I need to have it finished before summer sets in.
Thanks for the reply.
