from Ohio. So glad you joined. I use a box with a hole about the size of a quarter in the top. I use a 100 watt bulb in a light fixture, place the box on top, make sure box is not in contact with the top of the box, place the egg on top, turn on the light, don't leave the light on very long, it does get hot. By day seven you should see veining in the egg. There is no mistaken of veining. If it is clear, it is not fertile.
