giving apple cider vinegar

I'm a believer in ACV. My hens were sick started acv and they got healthy. Then i forgot to put it in for about a month and a couple of them got sick. Stated back with acv and they are good again.

ok i am not very good at converting...

I have a 5 metric gallon plastic water container..

I have added 2 teaspoons to the container...I think i under dosed them..

how much should i be adding?

I have 24 - 3 week old brown egg variety. My dh has been doing the water and was still using the electrolytes we first were giving them. I thought we should stop. Should I wait a bit or wean over to the ACV? Some of the chick have watery poop... should I be worried. No blood though

I use this -

For birds needing a boost:
1 tbsp per quart
1/4 cup per gallon

For maintenance :
1 tsp per quart
4 tsp per gallon
1/2 cup per 5 gallon

I have this on hand, so how much to I provide for my new chicks, which arrive to their new brooder on Tuesday? They will be at our Co-Op in BC from McMurray's Hatchery. I have a plastic waterer.

Should I wait a week or begin sooner? Are they too young?

I just put some acv in my chicks water-er last night for the first time...and I swear they liked it as if it was a treat. They seem to have drank more water today than in past days. It seems like a great idea to ward off illness.
