Giving chicks boiled eggs

Do you just toss it in the brooder whole or do you chop it up and serve it on a small bowl??????

Either way will work..if they are younger chopped up is better.

I use a potato masher with small holes and mash them up very fine so they won't choke. Or you can use a fork.

Do they need any kind of grit with that?

I don't usually add grit if they are only eating starter and eggs, but can't hurt to sprinkle some on their food occasionally. Don't give it free choice, though, or they'll load up on grit and can impact their crops.
