Hi folks, this is the 3rd day that Gladys has been lethargic and not eating well. She seems a little warm to me as well but I'm not sure. For those that remember me, she is seven yrs old now and is pampered to the max. I would love some advice. A friend with chickens suggested an antibiotic like tetracycline helps when one of her pet chickens is feeling out of sorts.

Thank you,
Randall

She has been laying a few smallish eggs lately. Egg bound was our first guess as well so we have introduced vegetable oil which worked well once before when she was much younger. Her poop is looking black the last several days. Her diet and food brand hasn't changed in all these years.

Yeah her poop is really weird. It looks and feels like cookie dough. I added the creases so you could see texture.

@casportpony is our poop expert maybe she can weigh in on the poop. Maybe dehydrated? Yes I would def get some Calcium gluconate and start giving her some over a favorite treat it can help with contraction to get the egg out. TSC carries it.
