Glass waterers & my invention -- Photo is back

oh what about those big pickle jars or "tea" jars ????

I use glass for my chickens.. glass coffee pots or thick glass glasses..short ones... I place the glasses in a "rack...shelf" we wire or attach all to the side of their run.. or put in an old drawer( covered with vinyl siding or coil aluminum stock, roofed with overhang)... on their "'bacK"..... I dont have a problem with them that way.. course this is for older chickens.....
chicks another story.....all glass is atached somehow to runs or enclosed in place......
I am using tupperware right now cause of these extreme cold.... when its not freezing temperature will reuse glass. I change them most everyday, esp the glasses with probiotics and vitamins... or ACV in glasses...
I do this cause I use glass almost exclusively myself...even cookware.. thats just me I trust glass more....Everyone does what they think is best for them.....I just try to be careful.....
Kitty Kat is fed in glass bowls too....on front porch in a cat bowl double holder.. Holder cme with ss bowls.. but I decided on glass instead. I have gobs of glassware.. You can get it(glassware) cheap at flea mkts. or thrift stores, or yard sales....
course my spoiled chickens dont spend much time in their enclosed smaller run.... they spend most of their time in the fenced 100 by 100 plus area...wiith extra shelters, aluminum truck toppers and underneath big toolshed with aluminum window screened"lattice....so far God has blessed me and so far no overhead predators.. I spend lots of time outside anyway....so maybe my presense keeps them at bay.....
sorry to run onand go off topic thanks all
just a saying
