Glenn Beck has made for some of the most hilarious moments on the Daily Show ever, I just don't think I can hate him after that.

Sorry Wifezilla, he's a pretty polarizing guy. I don't think it's possible to post anything about him and not get an "eek!" or two along with a few "yay!"s. I suspect he would be pretty sad if he thought that he didn't make some of us yack.

Glenn Beck would be fine if people understood what Glenn Beck is.

Beck-and pretty much anyone on any of the 24 hour news networks-is an entertainer. Think Jon Stewart on The Daily Show. Yes, they report real news. Yes, some of the reporting is even insightful. But it's entertainment. A show. It has a bias, which is why I crack up every time I see Fox's "Fair and Balanced" logo. They're every bit as 'fair and balanced' as MSNBC is.

So you know, watch Beck. Like him. But don't pretend he's something he's not.

The people who did it were trying to make a point about fact checking and how internet rumors spread and that Beck should be more careful in what he says. He spend HUGE money trying to eradicate the story and tried to sue everyone and their brother. It is mostly gone - but it still peeks up every now and again.
