"I don't really know. I've been living on my own all over the place for almost a year. I'm looking for a mate." He looked away.

“That isn’t going to work.” Osprey said, watching Mitts with narrowed eyes. “That Omega is going to die.”

Sapphire told me that she will die if someone doesn’t go grab some fancy gem or something. She says I am not strong enough to go. I am going to see if I can wake her up.

"She WHAT?" Sparrow asked, bewildered. She followed Mitts and prodded Sapphire with her paw. "Are you awake?" She whispered.
