Osprey dropped the surprisingly light wolf into the cool, rushing waters of the stream. The water was shallow enough that she was only partly submerged. Blood streamed out from her wounds into the currents, racing away like liquid fish.

Just have to say, as a writer, I love the way you put that!

Mitts continued down the path, she knew no one there would or could go, so she had to. Sapphire was her friend after all.
