(They both look great!)
Blizzard closed his eyes, pain etched across his face. He just wanted to slip away, away from this agony, and never have to come back to it again.

(Rping with myself lol)
Keith had been monitering the IV, he walked over to examine the wolf. (What would a wolf with an infection look like? Would they have a fever? What else?)

Blizzard pricked his ears. He knew they were talking about him. Are they going to kill me and eat me? he wondered
Rose saw the wolf prick his ears, he's listening to us, she thought. "You're alright. You're safe now big guy. Everything will be alright," she said in a soothing tone, trying to calm him down.

Keith knew he was dealing with a wild animal, and that in order to properly examine his leg the wolf needed to be sedated, and yet there were certain things he could only observe with the wolf awake. "Keep talking to him," he told Rose, "keep him calm, and distracted. Be prepared to sedate him quickly if neccesary."

Rose continued to speak to Blizzard in a soothing manner, and picked up a loaded syringe slowly, casually holding it in her hand.

Blizzard saw the syringe and whimpered softly. He didn't like those one bit

Blizzard relaxed a bit. He weakly licked her hand, showing his gratitude
Rose smiled, this poor wolf has been through so much, she thought, I doubt he wants to be sedated again, and he seems so friendly for a wild animal. And yet he'd be in less pain should he be asleep.

Keith moved to the wolves legs, and looked at them. They were a mess. They were mangled and bleeding and they were now swelling up. Blisters were forming and they were beggining to ooze. He had a suspicion this wasn't just the accidents doing, these legs have been exposed to the elements so long...and they weren't properly treated when he was found.
