‘ Food. It is what the settlers feed me and I guess you now.’ Mitts went over to another bowl and began eating.
Luna sniffed the ground. It didn't take her long to realize a Thunderbear had taken the two wolves far away. She debated on following it but decided to first let Mitts know. Then again, maybe I should stay with Mitts and help her take care of those pups.
(Realistically, wolfdogs don't do well on regular dog food. As far as I know, most wolfdog owners feed a diet of various raw meats/organ meats and eggs. Also uncooked bones.)
(A lot of dog owners give their dogs raw organ meats because it's healthier.)
( for that sake of simplicity it would be high protein food for wolf dogs since Mitts is a breed of dog very genetically related to wolves. so just make Kasper eat it.)
(So I have heard...it must be expensive, unless the owner regularly purchases raw meat to cook anyways.)
( Mitts owner is a poor idiot so they won’t be getting high quality food, but that’s what the chickens are for

Kasper took a nibble of the dog food. "Hm..." he thought. "Never had anything like this. It's interesting...I'll have to get used to it, I guess." It wasn't as good as the small pieces of meat he had been fed by his mother, though.
Luna trotted up to the house. She started to bark, but then decided to just go inside.
