"Don't worry about it. You are invited to come if you'd like." Shark smiled at her, then turned to see how Dove, the pup was doing. "Yay! My pack is building back up again!" Shark thought happily as she walked towards the "pup den".

"Dove, are you in there?" Shark called softly, not wanting to wake the pup if she was napping.

Lana felt happier than she had for a long time, and almost wanted to run about. But she was too cultured to allow herself to lose composure, and plus, Mitts would feel unhappy watching other wolves do what she could not at the moment. She stood up and looked around instead, searching for Lottie or Glacier.

Dove turned around in a blurr, and raced into the pup den, "Mountain pack?" she asked, unsure she could believe her ears, did our Alpha get captured?

Stormcloud dashed after the rabbit, through brush and over logs and rocks, around trees, and under roots. He was closing in. His run was odd, due to his back leg, which ached every time it touched the ground. However, he had learned how to run without it barely brushing the forest floor, though it could be described better as a three-legged skip. Geez, this rabbit got far from its burrow. He thought, then was consumed by the chase once again. He swerved and missed a tree trunk, then pounced. His paws met the soft brown fur they were aiming for. He grasped the struggling creature in his jaws and broke its neck. He brought his tail up triumphantly.
