Shark trotted out of the main camp to the edge of their territory. "We will just follow the line from here." She decided. She turned to the left and trotted along sniffing at stuff here and there. "It's good to leave fresh scent now and then." She told Dusk.

Dusk kept his ears pricked, and eyes peeled for any intruders. He let Alpha do the scent marking, it was her pack after all.
 
Sky suddenly had an idea. He jumped up and ran off into the forest. He laid down and waited quietly until a squirrel came by to get the berries he had left of the ground. He pounced, quickly killing it. Then he carried it in his mouth to a different stop. "Rabbits are in this bush a lot!" He thought hopefully. He nudged the bush, and out came a rabbit. With one quick movement he had it.

He walked back to camp carrying the squirrel and the rabbit. "Here Mitts!" He called. "Look what I brought for you!" He dropped the rabbit and the squirrel at Mitts' feet.

Mitts gratefully devoured the small animals, happy she finally got real food. She looked at Sky, trying to say thank you. She was so happy she was practically jumping around.
