Mitts walked over between Jackson and the omegas and growled at him. She silently prayed he would leave them alone and go away.

Once again, Flower was confused by this wolf who kept defending them and helping with their jobs. She kept her eyes down and dug her face deeper into the dirt.

Sapphire froze, and begged with her eyes for Mitts to walk away. The idea of another wolf, especially Mitts, who was always helping them, being hurt on her account was terrible.

Mitts kept on blocking the omegas from danger, even though it had become clear Jackson was losing interest.

Raven lurked in the nearby shadows, silently watching the pack. She was confused on why these omegas wanted to stay in the pack, whilst being tormented daily.

Upon seeing Jackson, Sapphire whimpered, praying that she wouldn't be attacked again, and followed Flower's suit, displaying her belly and rolling her eyes back.

It must really suck to be an omega. Falcon thought. Deep down he felt genuinely bad for these she-wolves but he would never openly admit this due to his fear of appearing weak. Still, he couldn’t ignore the fact that Sapphire was a very pretty wolf.

Mitts made a mad dash to the food pile, and brought the omegas a nice fat piece of caribou back for them to eat.

Mitts noticed raven eyeing the caribou and grabbed a piece for her. She brought the piece over and nudged it towards her.

Falcon, who was sitting at the edge of the clearing, gave a low growl. He was picking up the scent of a wolf who was not part of the pack. He stood up and began walking along the edge of the pack’s camp, his lips slightly drawn back.
