Sapphire, awoke to the need to breathe. She tried to sit up, but couldn't. Haking violently, she began to feel herself go lightheaded. Then, turning, she saw Mitts standing over her. Unable to speak, she could only think, It was - it was you? You, my closest friend, betrayed me? Tears welled in her eyes as she realized she would never be loved. Staring up into the sky, she slowly faded away...
