Sparrow yawned and stretched as sunlight filtered through her den. She got up and padded around camp, still feeling a little groggy.

Glancing up, Sapphire smiled to see that Sparrow was awake as well. Walking over, she rolled onto her back and said, "Hey Sparrow! I just wasn't sure if I had properly thanked you yet. What you did was...well, amazing. How are those wounds healing up?"

Umber watched from afar, intrigued by the pack’s strange dynamic.

An alpha helping a lower ranking wolf? She thought, what next?

She crouched low to the ground and slowly crept closer to try and hear what the other two Wolves were talking about.

When Sparrow didn't reply, Sapphire realized that she must still be exhausted, and scrambled to her feet, walking back to the dirt patch she had slept on the night before. as she walked, she froze. She could feel herself being watched. Sapphire sniffed the air. A loner, she thought. Spinning around, she expected to see Raven, but she saw nothing.
