Mitts walked out of her den. She smelled an unfamiliar scent. She went running over towards where it was coming from, to see Luna talking to an unfamiliar wolf.

"Just what?" Luna asked suspiciously. "Are you here to attack our pack?"

“No! Not at all! I just, I’ve been watching you, and...” Umber looked around nervously and noticed another wolf approaching. She tensed up, ready to run

Mitts saw the loner getting ready to run and felt confused. Am I that scary all of a sudden? She thought.

"Is it because you want to join?" Luna asked, glancing back at Mitts

Mitts was excited to hear a new wolf might be joining the pack. It was getting quite boring around here anyways.

Umber paused, she was unsure of what to say. She did want to join a pack, but past experience had taught her that some pack were less accepting than others. She looked at the three legged wolf and the healer, and decided that probably wouldn’t chase her away.
“Yeah” she murmured

Sapphire returned from the stream, and, seeing Moon, she walked over. "Hi, Moon! Is it nice to have your cave back to yourself?" She laughed, hoping that Moon wouldn't attack her, but feeling to playful to go into her submissive stance

"Yes it is." Moon grinned

Thunder approached the newcomer. "Who are you?" He growled, his body towering over Umber.

Sapphire was relieved that Moon didn't look like she was going to attack her. "By the way, have you smelled a new wolf or something?" She asked
