Sapphire gently whispered to Swift, "Swift? Wake up, come on, you can do it," She whimpered worriedly

“Help me get her onto my back,” Raptor ordered Sapphire. “I’ll have to carry her back to camp.” He crouched in front of Swift to make it easier for Sapphire to lift her.

Swift tried to stand, stumbling, but a wave of nausea overcame her, and her legs buckled. She tried again and was able to stay on her feet, but felt very queasy and weak. “I can try to walk..”

Raptor stood up slowly, doing his best to balance Swift’s weight. He began making his way forward cautiously, then picked up his pace as quickly as he dared.
