"Oh... w-we haven't met." Spring studdered completely awake now, shooting Blizzard a look that said 'Nobody told me you had a mate!!!' "I'm just... n-not being his mate?" Spring said, completely regretting it as soon as it exited her mouth. Spring studied her paws ferociously, trying to scare away her awkwardness. Wow... She thought... talking to wolves is a lot harder than I remember!

“Damn right your not being his mate” Iora spat her fury overtaking her “so don’t get any ideas. Actually I take that back, if he is loyal he will stick by me”

"Okay!" Spring quickly answered, awkwardness taking over, she got up, gave Blizzard a last glance and trotted away with her tail between her legs.
She found a small rock in the camp which she curled up behind, waiting for herself to calm down. Stupid mate... stupid Blizzard She sighed... apparently her first friend was already reserved.

Iora shook her head annoyed, how did he not tell her he already had a mate? Is this the same pattern I’m going to have to live with? Maybe I’m better off by myself being free....

After what felt like eternity, all the awkwardness had settled... or at least some of it. She sighed again, I didn't even want him as a mate! ... just someone to talk too. Spring risked a peak around the rock, What did she say her name was again?

Iora sighed, deciding she had overreacted she went over, “um hi. I’m sorry, I overreacted and that was uncalled for. So um yeah” Iora was embarrassed about how she reacted

"Ummmm..." Spring said, struggling for words. This is just making it weirder... she though. Her awkwardness opening up again.

“Ok then, bye” she walked off back into the forest. Technically speaking she shouldn’t have been in camp because they hated her and she wasn’t part of the pack
