Flame walked over to Shark. Bowing her head low and crouching, she spoke. "Respected Alpha," She began. "I heard something about Mitts, my mate being-" She stopped. "Oh, help. I said Mitts is my mate!" She cleared her throat. "I mean, Mitts....my...my friend went away with Sapphire and Iora to see Blizzard who is caught in a zoo thingy. Maybe we should go search for them?"

The word zoo caught Crow’s attention. He quickly walked over to the two wolves. “Did you say wolves are caught at the zoo?” He asked Flame
 
Shark nodded at her respect. "It may be a good idea to search for them, but too many of us wolves are getting caught now a days. We will wait until this afternoon and see if Sapphire and Mitts come back. Oh, and Iora."

Flame nodded, "Thank you." She backed away, then turned and trotted to the stream to get a drink. "Why do I always think of Mitts as my mate??" She snarled at herself.

"Something like a zoo." Flame hesitated. "I'm not sure about to explain it. Maybe somewhere wolves go when they are hurt or lost?" She paused, "I've never been there so...."

“I’ve been to a zoo!” Crow practically yelled. He was excited, maybe they could on a rescue mission like last time. Then he could feel useful again.His tail dropped when he heard Shark give the order to wait.

Shark noticed his disappointment. "We don't want anymore wolves going to the settlers camp unless it is needed. If they don't come back by early afternoon - we will go search for them."
 
Mitts looked out at the trees, though she couldn’t reach them because there was a barrier. It was a strange wall, she could see through it but she couldn’t go through it. Bugs could go through it, but not her. She sighed and continued looking out, not really phased by the whole getting captured thing. It wasn’t anything especially new to her, getting into bad situations. This time, however, the settlers had taken her fake leg. Now Mitts couldn’t walk properly, as she had pretty much forgotten how to.

Crow nodded. He couldn’t figure why Shark was acting like an Alpha, wasn’t Owl the Alpha? Maybe it’s some kind of training for when Shark takes over. I should probably just go along with it.
“Of course Shark, whatever you say.”
