Because I just did that, and it made the soup a very ugly brownish-purple...

It looked like a swamp, and then I had to let it sit for a while until the others came, and when it wasn't heated....well, a purple skin with pools of oil I used to saute the onions appeared....

that sounds like something my dog would find disgusting, but I mean he is a pretty fancy dog.

I think any animal I have would turn up their noses, even my chickens...(But they refuse to eat their veggies, so...)

( my chickens and my dog both refuse to eat most vegetables. )

Then I guess I'm not the only one with picky chickens. when I try to give them some, they look at me like, 'seriously? Come on, bring out the good stuff, mealworms, and scratch.'

My chickens don’t like most treats. The only foods they really go after are mulberries and chicken feed. Once I was carrying their feeder out to be refilled and they followed me out the door about fifteen feet before I noticed.
