2 chicks hatched early and had egg goo stuck on them. I couldn't open the door due to all the other eggs so by the time I got them all out its dried on, they get around fine but it looks awful one looks like its got a glob of dried glue on its back. I tried warm water without luck, is there a trick to get this junk off?
Thanks,
bel

I always clean them up with warm water and a Q-tip so I can see what I am doing until it is all off. The warm water will soften it up.

I had one with dried goo on its back. After it dried completely it peeled off with my fingernail and didn't even pull out any fluff.

Thanks, its stuck good, but I will give it another try with the warm water.

It will eventually dry up and flake off, the longest I have ever had to wait for it to disappear is maybe 3 days, but it will eventually flake off.

Thanks, I havent tried the water again yet since it got cold, maybe I will wait a couple days instead then try water if they are still looking like they got into a vat of dippity do.
