18 years, heck we ate that healthy margerine for longer than that & told how healthy it was & now they say it is killing us! 18 years is nothing in the scheme of things! Forbes is definitely where I go to read about food safety!
Cindy, it's a lot more study than has been done on non-GMO foods. That's kind of the point here - there's no real reason to think they're unsafe, there's no real data saying they're unsafe - most likely, they're no different than non-GMO foods.
But people love controversy, outrage, and conspiracy theories, so most people will probably just ignore the science.
