Goanna or python?

Do you have a game camera you could put up then you will probably discover where the wooden eggs are going.
Real egg left in hen house is still there so I’m assuming the poor snake that ate the wooden eggs is in the bush dying a slow horrible death. If I had my nephews here they’d be happy as to go wandering through the bush to find it. Breaks my heart a little because it was more than likely just a friendly python that ate them :hit

I don't live in Australia but a neighbor was loosing her birds. It ended up being a python under her porch. Apparently someone decided they didn't want it any more and dropped it off. We are rural so now and then we get people's releases. They catch and since we are on a dead end road they release here in our area and give us their problems. A wildlife officer did locate and remove the snake from her property.
People who dump their pets should be shipped to Australia, dumped in the middle of the Nullarbor with a small bottle of water and a compass and told “You’re on your own now. Nobody loves you”. :gig

And yes I’m aware I’m not allowed to kill snakes. I don’t think I could anyway. I’ve had to pay $$$ in the past to call certified snake catchers to come out and remove poisonous snakes.
We payed $350 to remove a red belly from our coop. They came and got it and the next day there was another one there. Let’s just say we were not impressed
