Goat escaped again. Help!

Toggenburg are the worse for keeping confined. They can leap very high, and learn quickly to run through a fence. You may need to keep him somewhere secured. I had one that learned to jump a 5 foot gate, eat the chicken feed, than hop back over. We had to raise the boards to 10 feet to keep him in.
I had an Alpine buck that did something similar. He would jump out of his pen, jump into the does' pen, breed any does that were in heat, and then jump back into his pen with me none the wiser. It took me a while to figure it out. When I sold him, I warned the new owner about his capabilities. I could tell she didn't believe a word of what I told her. The next year she called me up and apologized.

I believe every one of my goats could jump right over my wooden fence if they so wished. Goats will stay in a fence if they are happy. So I make sure mine are happy. I think my goats own me. :)
